Post-treatment with laser engraving

Laser technology is used in many areas of life, for example, the Jedi's lightsaber works with it, or the weapons of Imperial stormtroopers shoot laser beams. But so that we don't have to go to galactic orbit to encounter a laser, there are many applications that work with laser light here on Earth.

Perhaps one of the most common and oldest (and much friendlier) methods is laser engraving, which is usually used to create patterns for souvenirs. Although there is no doubt that Obi-Wan Kenobi can easily sign your mug with his sword if he wants to, let's add that if he fails to hit the focus, your mug will jump..

But what and how do we use the laser? What is it in the industry?

As we have reported before (previous articles in the news), within the framework of a research and development project, our company has examined the latest and most important aluminum raw materials and determined their optimal machining by cutting, preparation for surface treatment, surface treatment and coloring (anodizing), and then the post-treatment of aluminum oxide surfaces by laser marking and engraving.

The results of the R&D project are presented in the form of a three-part professional article, in the third and final article we will analyze the latter, laser marking. On to the laser sword - er, I mean laser engraving!
